On Tuesday, November 19th the community came together and there was a lively celebration of the Grand Opening of Salon Thrive. We are thrilled they are a part of our Chamber and business community. It was raining that evening, but the rain did not dampen the spirits of this celebration! The crowd was lively and had a great time as the “happy dance began! It was wonderful that Curtis and Katie had their children there, making it a real family-affair! The refreshment and beverage area were a popular place to visit. Our hosts were friendly and welcomed everyone as they entered. The “official” ribbon cutting took place at 6:00 p.m. By looking at the photos you can feel the energy from the room through those photos! It was fantastic! Tori Floyd, representing Supervisor Dianne Jacob was there to present a certificate of appreciation to Curtis and Katie on behalf of the Supervisor. A certificate from La Mesa Mayor Mark Arapostathis and from the La Mesa Chamber were also presented by Mary England, Chamber CEO to Curtis and Katie. Salon Thrive is located at 2702 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon. This is the second location for owners Curtis and Katie Anderson. They have owned their other salon in Santee for the past 4 years. We are delighted that they have chosen our area to open their second salon.
