On Wednesday, October 24th, the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce welcomed members to the annual meeting held at Hooleys Public House, 5500 Grossmont Center Drive in Grossmont Center. Board Members that were elected are: Laurel Cruz – Productivity Plus Office Support, Maggie Eggers – EDCO, Eleanor Yvonne Mohammed – Eleanor Yvonne Mohammed State Farm Office, Mike Murphy – American Medical Response, Kyle Nyswonger – Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World. They join current Board Members: Jim Butcher – AAA Imaging, Steve Browne – Courtesy TV – Sales & Service, Sandy Eggleton – Block Advisors, Marcia Tolin – Coldwell Banker West and Mary England, La Mesa Chamber of Commerce, President & CEO.
The crowd was fun-filled and lively as they feasted on crowd pleasing selections from the menu: Corned Beef Mac & Cheese, Guinness Brats & Champ, Irish mashed potatoes, boneless Chicken Wings and Donegal Salad. This delicious menu was complimented by wines sponsored by: Cali Comfort BBQ, Riviera Supper Club and Valley Farm Market. There were many lucky winners of prizes throughout the evening, with the main prize won by Andy Kohler owner of EmbroidMe-LaMesa, who donated his winnings back to the La Mesa Chamber – Thank you Andy!
We thank Craig McDonald, owner of Hooleys Public House and Katherine Nesthus, the General Manager for making this evening so special. The stars of the night were Erin, Joe and our server “extraordinaire” Rachel, who provided excellent service throughout the evening.
