On Tuesday, October 11th Cindy James, her family and team opened their doors to to us and shared the vision and goals of her new La Mesa business, Our Family Spa. Guests who joined in this celebration and ribbon cutting took a tour of this new facility and learned of Cindy’s passion to create a business that caters to people and their families. The family is very important to Cindy and that is why Cindy has dedicated a children’s entertainment area, while parents enjoy many of the Our Family Spa services. Children can also be a part of the “spa” experience by choosing shimmer lotions, as well as other items that they may create themselves from the vast array of options. The manicure and pedicure room can be a mother and child experience, as well as other areas of the spa.
On hand to provide chair and back massages were staff members: Kevin Hopper and Mary Elena Zuazo to the delight of attendees. Cindy offered a drawing for a 1-hour massage, as well as discounts on products purchased during the evening. Certificates of Recognition were presented to Cindy and her children by Rebecca Ficke and Maxine Gomez representing Senator Joel Anderson, as well as Tori Floyd representing Supervisor Dianne Jacob. Congressman Duncan Hunter and Assemblywoman Shirley Weber sent certificates of recognition to commemorate this special occasion, that were presented by President and CEO, Mary England.
