The Hills Local Pub Comes to La Mesa in Style!

Thursday, April 3rd was an epic day for the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the businesses of La Mesa, as a standing room-only crowd welcomed the newest restaurant and pub to La Mesa, The Hills Local Pub located at 8758 La Mesa Boulevard. The mixer and ribbon cutting began at 5:30 p.m. People began arriving at 5 p.m. and the steady stream did not stop! Our special thank you to the team from Community Spectrum, who captured our evening on video, and the Chamber photographers Sandra Small and Ron Cook who helped us capture this memorable evening in photos. The proud owners of The Hills Local Pub were on hand to welcome the crowd and we are so happy that they followed their dream to La Mesa. Thank you to owners Ben Clevenger, Marco Rodriguez, Joe Morello and Jason Nichols for investing here in our wonderful town! This warm and friendly new pub has a dozen televisions for those that want to unwind and watch their favorite sporting events, as well as a great seating area that allows for great conversation. Guests grazed on the pub’s famous sliders and enjoyed cold brews on tap and various selections from the wine list. In addition to the fun loving crowd from the La Mesa Chamber, certificates of recognition and a warm welcome to the business community were presented to the owners from representatives from Congressman Duncan Hunter, Senator Joel Anderson, Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, as well as receiving a welcome plaque from the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce.
