Flag Day Parade
This annual parade has the route going along La Mesa Boulevard through the La Mesa Village (just east of Spring Street.) Families bring lawn chairs and enjoy watching the floats, clowns, bands, local officials and much more on this May event. Check the City of La Mesa website for more information.
Salute to Local Heroes
The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor 7 local heroes annually and is grateful to these men and women who protect, serve, and keep our community safe. It is only befitting that this annual event should honor those that give so much to so many. Each year, valiant men and women from the following are honored: La Mesa Police Department, Heartland Fire and Rescue, American Medical Response, and the La Mesa Police Department Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol.
Spring Fling & Summer Bash Business Expos
The La Mesa Chamber’s unique and fun-filled Business Expos, which happen twice a year, allow guests to enjoy 40-50 Chamber member vendor tables to meet our members, learn about their goods and services, and enter into numerous drawings for valuable prizes.
