La Mesa Chamber members came together to entertain guests and attendees at the final expo of the year, the 5th Annual “Summer Bash” Business Expo on Thursday, August 9th. Businesses and food vendors began arriving at 3:30 p.m. to set up at the La Mesa Community Center preparing for the evening’s festivities.

All of our food and beverage providers brought their “A” game and served delicious samples from their restaurants/businesses to the delight of our guests. We thank our dedicated evening food and beverage sponsors: BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Brew Coffee Spot, Cali Comfort BBQ, Curbside Eatery & Drinkery, Dream Dinners, El Torito – La Mesa, Golden Spoon, Little Roma, Los Pinos Taco Shop, Marie Callender’s – La Mesa, Nonno’s Ristorante Italiano, Pick Up Stix, Riviera Supper Club, Samuel Adams, Sycuan Casino, The Hills Local Pub and Valley Farm Market.

The networking was fast and furious and the buzz in the room grew throughout the evening as people arrived. All of our participating businesses were hot and heavy on the microphone, as they announced the winners of their FREE door prizes – over 44 were given away that night!

We thank Chris Brogan, our evening’s Emcee who did a fabulous job of making all of our announcements and keeping our activities on time! We thank Brian Sack who kept the door prize giveaway portion of the evening moving along so smoothly. Our sincere thanks to Sandra Small, our resident photographer who took photos of the evening and was joined by Chamber members CeCe Photo and Rippee Photography to complete the photos that captured our evening.
