The beer garden will include a portion of the beer garden situated in the front area of Fuddrucker’s along with seating. Tables and chairs will also be scattered throughout the entire side area of Fuddruckers’s for the convenience of attendees. Visit the beer garden and dine and sip beverages under the stars in La Mesa. The following styles of Mike Hess Brewing Company’s beers being offered are: Into the Sunset, Blood Orange IPA, Hop Cloud, the first of their Hazy IPAs, and Steel Beach, a crisp light-bodied and refreshing lager beer, that defines craft lager beer. Local Roots Kombucha will also be served. Local Roots is known for a drink that is authentic, bold and tailored to an active lifestyle. Local Roots only uses organic ingredients and cold-pressed juices, while minimizing sugar and maximizing flavors. Grossmont Center ROCKED on Friday Night! The First Friday Night Market Was a Hit!
October 4th was a flurry of activity as vendors began arriving to prepare for the crowd attending the First Friday Night Market. The grills were set up, the vendors and their staff were organizing their booths in readiness to serve their guests. The Chamber was also preparing to serve guests in the beer garden. Ice, beer and kombucha was being delivered and the volunteer team were ready for the “opening bell.” This evening that celebrates the Vegan lifestyle, did not disappoint! At 5 p.m. the guests began arriving just as expected. The lines continued to grow throughout the evening, and it was not unusual for the wait time to grow to 45-60 minutes to order and receive the delicious food items. There were also other Vegan selections that guests could purchase to complete their experience that evening.
The Chamber is pleased to partner with Grossmont Center and Vegan in San Diego on this new adventure. Our volunteers were having a ball greeting guests to the beer garden, serving them and being a part of this evening. A HUGE thank you to the volunteer team that was part of our “first time” activity! We LOVE our volunteer team!
Did you miss us last Friday night? No worries, we will be there on Friday, November 1st again to serve and entertain you throughout the evening.
