Political Advocacy
Dear Members:
As an advocate for our members, the La Mesa Chamber is committed to keeping you informed of issues that may affect your business. While we do not publicly endorse any particular candidate, we do host a “Meet The Candidate Forum” each election cycle and invite candidates for the local office of Mayor and City Council to participate. We also invite elected officials from Congress, Senate, and other various levels to speak periodically at Breakfast Meetings.
The resources shown to the right provide information on how your legislators voted last year on various business related bills, and the latest information from the California Chamber on bills and upcoming ballot measures.
The La Mesa Chamber is a member of the California Chamber of Commerce and supports business-friendly legislation through their lobbying efforts.
