The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce entertained over 180 attendees on Wednesday, August 12th at the 2nd Annual “Summer Bash” Business Expo. This unique and fun-filled evening allowed guests to enjoy visiting 47 Chamber member vendor tables and enter into their various drawings for valuable prizes. Guests were treated to winning gift cards to restaurants, gift certificates to various stores and dealerships, as well as gift baskets laden with remarkable gift items. A total of over 47 gifts were given away to guests this evening by Chamber members, which set a record!
Attendees were able to enjoy delicious food and beverages provided by many local restaurants. Chris Brogan offered his services for the evening as the Master of Ceremonies. Chris is a local musical entertainer that performs with his trio, THE IDEAS Rock & Roll Trio. Chris kept the evening activities moving at a fast pace, so that all prizes and announcements were done in a timely fashion.
In addition to the evening festivities, the Chamber welcomed 14 new members that were presented certificates of recognition by Congressman Duncan Hunter, Neil Mashruwala and Sylvana Wick representing Senator Joel Anderson, Lee Hernandez representing Assemblywoman Shirley Weber and Taylor Dupont representing Supervisor Dianne Jacob. This event has become a popular activity that allows members, as well as attendees and guests to enjoy a high energy, fun-filled evening in La Mesa.
