On Wednesday night, February 21st a group of fun-loving La Mesa members got together for an evening mixer. The Hills Pub is a favorite watering hole and served the best sliders in town! Take a look at those sliders – they were delicious! They also served yummy pretzel nuggets with a Jalapeno Cheese sauce. The Manager, Kristen made sure that the food was served and plentiful. The beverages were cold and frosty with a large selection of on tap brews. The mood was festive, and we had the back patio reserved. We were able to visit the new “game room” that was added to this La Mesa location. This new game room has lots of games and an additional bar to please guests when they want to enjoy the latest in electronic games.
One of the owners, Ben Clevenger stopped by to make sure that we were having fun. We were happy to welcome Congresswoman Sara Jacobs who joined us for this special evening. She mingled with our guests, and it was great to have her visit our chamber and La Mesa. This was an excellent opportunity for people to network and enjoy themselves. We held a raffle and had many lucky winners. During the evening a time was set aside for a warm welcome and the opportunity to introduce Congresswoman Jacobs to address the crowd. We are grateful that our media partner, Lemon Grove Media & Communications, owner Jessyka Heredia to capture our evening via Instagram and also had two of our photographers on hand to capture the evening. We thank the owners for hosting the mixer and Kristen for setting up the patio area for us and to her staff for the EXCELLENT service and the delicious food and beverages.
