Wises Barbershop - Ribbon Cutting

Wises Barbershop has recently opened in La Mesa and wanted to throw an open house and party to celebrate. The fun-filled afternoon on Sunday, January 28th was quite a party! The party began at 12 noon and people just kept arriving. The owner, Nathaniel Wise was a gracious host. His shop at 5575 Baltimore Drive was a perfect location for a Sunday afternoon get-together. Several of his neighboring businesses were closed, providing the extra room he needed for chairs and canopies. The “official” ribbon cutting happened at 1:30 p.m. with Vice Mayor Laura Lothian presenting a certificate of appreciation to Natt and his family on behalf of the City of La Mesa. Mary England presented Natt his membership plaque, as well as a welcome certificate from the Chamber Board of Directors. The fun-filled afternoon was captured by Chamber photographer, Bob Walker, owner of Bob Walker Photography & Custom Framing. There was great live music that enhanced the afternoon. Natt is an accomplished musician who plays the guitar, banjo, fiddle, and drums in local bands. To make Natt’s day special many of his friends in the music industry joined him and provided great music for this special afternoon.

Natt Wise the owner, has been serving folks for the past 10 years offering classic barbering and modern style, which exemplifies the art of grooming. Natt served appetizers from the following local businesses – Little Roma, Acapala Modern Mex, Riviera Supper Club & Turquoise Room, and Hug Thai Express. It was great to meet the team at Wises Barbershop and see why they have become so popular with those that enjoy great barbering and excellent customer service. The atmosphere was comfortable, and everyone had an enjoyable time.
