The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with Anthony’s Fish Grotto and held the July 19th annual evening mixer at this famous restaurant in La Mesa. As the Chamber continues to celebrate their 15h anniversary this year, we had a “full house” at this evening mixer on “the lake.” Craig Ghio, the owner, and family member of this iconic family restaurant was on hand to help us celebrate this special evening. In 1946 “Mama” Ghio began serving her sauces and recipes at Anthony’s Restaurant and the rest is history! Guests were able to sample some of the dishes that continue to make Anthony’s a popular dining spot. The menu included an abundant fresh fruit salad, fried shrimp, fish sliders, guacamole dip and chips and more! No one left this mixer hungry! Mayor Mark Arapostathis was on hand to present the Chamber with a proclamation celebrating the 15 years of community activities and service that has been provided by our local non-profit organization. Anthony’s Fish Grotto is a strong supporter of our community, and we encourage you to dine and enjoy great food on a summer evening on the lake!
