On Tuesday, March 7th, Deano’s Pub held their 1 Year Anniversary celebration and folks came out to join in the fun. The pub was full of people and the high energy vibe was felt throughout the room! Deano’s Pub is located at 5286 Baltimore Drive in La Mesa. The newly renovated bar has been transformed into a friendly neighborhood bar, that is a gathering place for fun and friendly conversation. Deano’s Pub founders Dean and Erika Velasco were on hand for the festivities and their staff were ready to serve the crowd. Food was catered by Acapela Modern Mex, located at 5575 Baltimore Drive (right down the street) who served quesadillas, beans, French fries with cheese, rice, rolled tacos with all the trimmings and the Chamber provided desserts. Assembly Member Akilah Weber sent her representative, Sam Gonzalez to present a certificate of recognition to Erica and Dean and the Chamber joined in by presenting Erika and Dean with a one-year anniversary certificate, as well.
