On February 9th a first-time forum was held in partnership with Council Woman Laura Lothian. The purpose of this forum was to hear from local businesses to address the challenges that they face as they open their businesses in La Mesa, applying for permits, operating their business in La Mesa. What solutions can we identify that can be identified improve the local business climate and what processes can be streamlined or improved to assist businesses? There was robust meeting, with over 25 business and developers in attendance. The Chamber presented Council Woman Laura Lothian with a certificate of recognition for her vision and leadership in partnering with the La Mesa Chamber to make this forum happen!
