Deano's Pub Ribbon Cutting

On Saturday, February 5th we were happy to welcome Deano’s Pub to our business community and there was a huge crowd to join in that celebration. The pub was a lively activity with LOTS of people attending. With the high energy in the room, and everyone talking and laughing and having fun, you had difficulty even hearing announcements. People came from far and near to welcome Deano’s Pub to La Mesa! The newly renovated bar has been transformed into a friendly neighborhood bar, that is a gathering place for fun and friendly conversation. Senator Brian Jones joined the party and presented certificates of appreciation from himself and Supervisor Joel Anderson to Dean Velasco and his family. Council Woman, Laura Lothian joined in the fun and presented a certificate of recognition to Dean from the City of La Mesa. The La Mesa Chamber presented Dean their membership plaque and a certificate as well.

Deano’s Pub founders Dean and Erika Velasco are no strangers to owning a business that serves people. Prior to opening Deano’s Pub in La Mesa, they owned Riverwalk Grill in Santee. To celebrate this Grand Opening elected officials from Santee joined the party to wish them well. We are grateful that Santee Mayor, John Minto, and Council Members Rob McNelis and Dustin Trotter joined our La Mesa party.

Deano’s Pub is located at 5286 Baltimore Drive in La Mesa. In addition to watching your favorite team on the big screen TV’s, you can listen to live music on selected nights and enjoy Karaoke on Wednesday nights. Deano’s Pub is the perfect place to join friends and unwind after a busy day.
