On Thursday, June 11th Vice Chairman, Joshua Muse of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation came to La Mesa, along with his marketing team to present a check in the amount of $5,000 to support the La Mesa businesses that were impacted by the civil unrest in La Mesa that began on May 30th. The check was presented to Rick Wilson, President & CEO, San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, Mary England, President & CEO La Mesa Chamber of Commerce, and President of the East County Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Patrick Howard. Sycuan has been a valued member of the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce and participates in many of our Chamber events and activities. We are grateful for their ongoing commitment to our entire La Mesa business community and for this generous donation.
