The music flowed from Sunset Mobile Music, led by our special DJ, Dominic that set the mood for the festive occasion of the celebration of the 2-year anniversary of the Courtyard by Marriott in El Cajon. As guests entered the foyer, the party began! They were quickly ushered into the courtyard where the food, fun and music were happening. The white belly bars and white tables were exquisitely staged on the green lawn, making a tremendous statement. Rachel Lynch and her efficient staff did an excellent job of setting the stage for this celebration. Food stations laden with delicious food provided by: Buckboard Catering & Events, Urbane Café, Golden Corral. And the Courtyard by Marriott had people smiling throughout the evening. The wine was sponsored by San Pasqual Winery, which was an added touch to the festive evening! The sunset was a perfect backdrop for the party. As the sun began to set and the evening continued to unfold, the lighting on the area cast a beautiful glow as the anniversary cake that was cut for guests to enjoy!
The Marriott General Manager, Juan Alarid, thanked the guests for attending and shared the history of the hotel and success of the property. He and Rachel Lynch were gracious hosts. To finalize the celebration Juan and Rachel were presented certificates to celebrate the 2-year anniversary by President & CEO, Mary England from Senator Brian Jones, Mayor Mark Arapostathis and the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is proud to have the Marriott a member and look forward to another party in 2021 to celebrate their next anniversary!
