Uneeke Boutique Ribbon Cutting

On Thursday, June 20th as guests entered Uneeke Boutique to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of this tasteful and intimate boutique, they were greeted by owner, Kim Purchase, whose smile was endless. Her Mother, Sharon stood at the food station pouring celebratory champagne and offering delicious samplings, allowing guests to sip and sample the evening’s refreshments as they shopped. While Kim helped shoppers select sizes of various “treasures” and visit the dressing room, she would rush back to the counter to ring up purchases. The room was a hub of activity and the party was a lively affair.

The photos taken of the evening by CeCe Canton, owner of CeCe Photo capture the fun and festivity of the evening. The ribbon cutting as you can see by the event photos celebrated Kim’s 5 years in La Mesa. La Mesa City Council member, Akilah Weber presented Kim a certificate of appreciation for being a part of the La Mesa business community for the past 5 years. Akilah’s comments were warm and very touching and drew tears from Kim and guests. Victoria Floyd, representing Supervisor Dianne Jacob also attended and congratulated Kim on her five -year anniversary. The Chamber presented certificates from Congressman Duncan Hunter and Senator Brian Jones, as well as from the Chamber to celebrate Kim’s anniversary as well.
