The owners of The Hills Local Pub arrived in La Mesa 5-years ago and are we glad! This location has become popular gathering spot and “watering hole” for locals, as well as visitors from throughout the region Thank you to owners: Ben Clevenger, Marco Rodriguez, Joe Morello and Jason Nichols for having the vision to remodel a location and turn it into a local favorite. On Tuesday, April 2nd the Chamber and friends celebrated the 5- year anniversary of this great pub and a good time was had by all. The Hills Local Pub Manager, Leilani Doyea and her team members took care of all the guests in style! Platters laden with great food were delivered, filled with chicken wings, pulled pork sandwiches and other items that were devoured by all of the guests. No one left this celebration hungry! The room was filled with high energy and great conversation, as guests connected with each other. The sound of laughter was heard throughout the room and flowed to the bar area. We were joined by owner Jason Nichols and his son who accepted certificates of recognition for this 5-year anniversary. Supervisor Dianne Jacob sent her representative Victoria Floyd to present her certificate of appreciation, the City of La Mesa sent a certificate of recognition and we were happy to have La Mesa City Council Member Kristine Alessio join us for this special occasion. The Chamber presented a certificate of appreciation to The Hills Local Pub for being a part of the business community for the past 5-years. Be sure and stop by The Hills Local Pub located at 8758 La Mesa Boulevard, enjoy terrific pub grub and try their famous sliders and celebrate their presence in La Mesa for the past 5-years.
