The Chamber, in partnership with Barnes & Noble in Grossmont Center, collected 568 books from the public during the month of October to donate to our La Mesa Military Families Project. On Saturday, October 27th these books were “stuffed” in a Jeep graciously loaned by Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World that was sitting in Grossmont Center from October 22nd through October 27th. These books, along with the toys we collect, will be handed off to the managers of the two housing units, the Lincoln Military Housing group on Tuesday, December 4th at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse to complete this year’s project.
