This was our first open house and ribbon cutting held outside with the new time change. It was a great time, held in the parking lot of Journey of Health Medical Clinic. Raffle tickets were abundant. Dr. Shannyn Fowl and her staff gave away raffle items every 15 minutes. Her Husband, with the 10-gallon hat, was a great emcee and kept the evening flowing! People were constantly filling their plates and that is always a good sign! The food was healthy and delicious, with a huge selection of items. We were joined by people presenting certificates to Dr. Fowl and her staff from: Ariana Uribe, representing Senator Joel Anderson, Tori Floyd representing Supervisor Dianne Jacob, joined by certificates sent by Congressman Duncan Hunter, the City of La Mesa and the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce – all presented by President & CEO Mary England. A good time was had by all. We are thrilled that Dr. Fowl chose to relocate to La Mesa. Couldn’t make the open house and ribbon cutting?
