The Riviera Supper Club Ribbon Cutting Rocks!

On Wednesday, January 21st over 85 people turned out to welcome the newest restaurant in La Mesa, The Riviera Supper Club & Turquoise Room www.rivierasupperclub.com located at 7777 University Avenue.  The level of excitement was high as members, friends and guests joined the owners and celebrated the opening of this unique steak house.  Chamber attendees were treated to generous pieces of sirloin steak and gathered around the grill and bar to enjoy the evening.  This is a restaurant that is unique because you cook your own meat with seasonings and sauces you can add to your own tastes.  Formerly the Turf Club in Golden Hills, the owners moved to this larger location in La Mesa recently keeping many of the same employees so the old patrons won’t miss a beat and the new ones will be pleasantly surprised with the food, fun and atmosphere all at a reasonable price.  The Supper Club is open to all from 4-7 daily but after 7 pm, it is 21 and older only so plan accordingly. Whether you are partial to steak, chicken or seafood - cooking it yourself is fun and you get to mingle with others and
chat while your entrée cooks.

Raffle prizes, donated by Bob Bowen Auto Service www.carrepair.com and the Chamber, were won by members and people enjoyed the networking.  The highlight of the evening was the official ribbon cutting - welcoming the Riviera Supper Club to our business community. Special thanks to Robert Bruni of Ambience Photography www.ambiencephoto.com who captured the evening for the Chamber with some great shots of the restaurant and guests.
