On September 10th, Fitness 101 had an all-day celebration to remember! The owner, Giovanni Georgees rolled out the Red Carpet for guests and we mean the red carpet! There was a bright red carpet lining the floor as you entered the very busy gym. There were people working out on all of the various machines, while a DJ played music that kept the crowd jumping. Many of the weight lifters are quite famous and compete in their weight categories throughout the state and more! These very fit young people were amazing to watch and the crowd were very enthusiastic as they cheered these disciplined people on! It was an amazing experience to watch these professionals do what they do best – keep in shape and continue to hold their “edge” as they compete in the future. Attendees were able to sample “healthy” products that boost energy, offer high protein and taste good! The local newspaper, the La Mesa Courier was on hand to offer free newspapers and support this special occasion. Kelsey Meksto from Senator Joel Anderson’s office was on hand to provide a Certificate of Appreciation to Giovanni, his family members and his entire team on this one-year anniversary. She was joined by Tori Floyd from Supervisor Dianne Jacob’s office, who also wanted to recognize Giovanni and his team on this special anniversary and celebration.
