On Wednesday, October 23rd the Chamber celebrated the arrival of First Financial Credit Union to La Mesa with the grand opening of their newest branch located at 5570 Lake Murray Blvd. in La Mesa. This brand-new building is a great addition to our community. The inside of this location is tastefully decorated and very inviting. To add to the entire experience, the entire theme had a tropical flare. Tropical flowers adorned the buffet table that was laden with delicious food items, complete with tropical paper plates and napkins. The celebration began that day at 9 a.m. and many of the First Financial Credit Union Board of Directors and leadership team traveled to La Mesa to be a part of this special day. The La Mesa Chamber joined in the celebration to welcome First Financial Credit Union to our community and participated in a ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. that day. Supervisor Dianne Jacob was represented by Tori Floyd who presented Jaclynn Carey, Branch Manager with a certificate of recognition and Chamber President and CEO, Mary England presented a membership plaque and a certificate of appreciation from La Mesa Mayor Mark Arapostathis. We encourage you to join us and take a tour of the new office space and meet Jaclynn “Jackie” Carey and her team at their brand-new location in La Mesa. It was a great day in La Mesa to see this property developed and a brand-new business sitting on the site.
