The 1-year anniversary celebration and ribbon cutting of Small Batch on Saturday, November 2 was a fun-filled joyous occasion.  People continued to arrive from the beginning of the celebration to the end, way after the 4:30 p.m. ribbon cutting. People were so happy to mix and mingle and do some shopping in this unique shop located at 8332 La Mesa Boulevard.  The owners, Brittany and Lacy presented delicious “bites” for guests, along with some interesting beverages.  The bites were sampling of cheeses, fruits, crackers, salami and other items to temp any taste bud. A unique beverage that was offered , which is a  “favorite” of the owners is a beverage called, Negroni, served with a fresh orange slice. There were other beverages offered to satisfy everyone’s thirst and compliment the great conversation of the evening.

These two ladies met in college and forged a close relationship and when they decided to open a business, they chose this location wanting to be a part of the downtown revitalization.  Take a moment and stop into Small Batch and you will be amazed at the unique items they offer.  I encourage you to visit the “Adventure” Section, as well as browse the shop for special holiday gifts.  The décor is tastefully done in soothing earth tones that will calm your spirit and allow you to shop in a peaceful environment.  Visit Small Batch, located at 8332 La Mesa Boulevard in the Village.
