The party on Wednesday night, October 23rd was a loud and fun-filled event. Our members and guests arrived with their “party” attitude and were ready to network and enjoy the evening. Hooleys Public House, 5500 Grossmont Center Drive in Grossmont Center were ready for us and had the wine chilled and the chafing dishes ready for the feast! Board Members that were elected and announced that evening are: Steve Browne, Courtesy TV – Sales & Service, Jim Butcher, AAA Imaging, Sandy Eggleton – Block Advisors, Mike McCorkle, Global Protection Group, Brian Sack, Sanctuary Cruises, and Marcia Tolin, Marcia Tolin for Real Estate. They join current Board Members: Laurel Cruz, Productivity Plus Office Support, Maggie Eggers – EDCO, Eleanor Yvonne Mohamed, Eleanor Yvonne Mohammed State Farm Office, Mike Murphy, American Medical Response, Kyle Nyswonger, Carl Burger Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM World and Mary England, La Mesa Chamber of Commerce, President & CEO.
The evening was fun-filled and lively as they enjoyed the crowd -pleasing selections from the menu: Corned Beef Mac & Cheese, Guiness Brats & Champ, Irish mashed potatoes, boneless Chicken Wings and Donegal Salad. This delicious menu was complimented by wines sponsored by Cali Comfort BBQ, Nonno’s Ristorante Italiano and Valley Farm Market. There were many lucky winners during the evening, with the main prize won by Ralph Serrato of Kristine Avram Insurance. We want to thank our new Chamber Member Photographer, Mike White, owner of MJ’s Fine Photography for capturing the evening for us.
Craig McDonald, owner of Hooleys Public House is such a delightful host, we appreciate his hospitality each year for this annual meeting. Katherine Nesthus, the General Manager, had all of the arrangements completed for our evening, thank you. Our ”star” Hooleys team member, that evening, was Anthony who did an outstanding job of taking care of our dining and beverage needs.
