On Tuesday, November 14th THRiVE Real Estate took La Mesa by storm! There was standing room only as co-founders of THRiVE Real Estate, Sean and Lisa Purcell opened the doors of their new La Mesa office and greeted over 400 fun-loving friends and colleagues to share in their special celebration. The festive mood spilled into each and every “nook and cranny” of this unique office location.  This open house had elements that normally are not found at such an event. There were two bartenders that pacified all of the thirsty guests, food samplings offered at various locations throughout the room, and in a specially designated area a silent auction was staged, raffle items could be viewed and several items were showcased for the evening’s live auction. This open house had a very unique and heartfelt theme – to raise money for the Eric Paredes Save a Life Foundation. Eric Paredes was a healthy Steele Canyon High School sophomore athlete who died suddenly and unexpectedly from Sudden Cardiac Arrest/Death.  Through Sean and Lisa’s efforts over $6,000 was raised during the evening for this worthwhile foundation. Certificates of recognition were presented by many: Jessica Mayhew from Senator Anderson’s office, Victoria Floyd from Supervisor Dianne Jacob’s office and others who sent the certificates in advance of the event – Congressman Duncan Hunter, Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, the City of La Mesa, as well as the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce.

While in the neighborhood, we encourage you to stop by the THRiVE office at 8693 La Mesa Blvd. and have a cup of coffee at the Café Bar, relax in the various areas created for conversations and meet the team of THRiVE. You will find them to be friendly and the atmosphere inviting. Sean and Lisa are committed to giving back and have created a “community room” for local special events. So, stop by and take a look at this new and unique location, complete with “Huddle Rooms” and “Think Tanks” and miscellaneous “Focus Rooms.”
