On Tuesday, May 9th the community came together to welcome a new addition to our business community, the Brew Coffee Spot. We met the owners and saw their desire to create a gathering place where people can enjoy great coffee, beverages and locally sourced items and more. Partners Joe and Heather Paraiso and Ralf Wilkowski have a strong desire to serve quality coffee, teas and freshly baked pastries, as well as other quality items to delight their customers. This team is focused on quality and serving the very best to everyone who visits their coffee shop. They wanted to create a warm and friendly environment, with excellent customer service to all who enter and they have achieved that goal. The neighborhood has come together to welcome them and have made this a great gathering spot. Joe, Heather and Rallf greet everyone by their first name and have made this the “cheers” of coffee spots!

The room was full of high energy, as guests joined in the ribbon cutting, as they enjoyed their favorite “brews.” Balloon decorations were throughout the room to add to the festivities and background music was presented by Phil Boroff. Senator Joel Anderson sent his representative Paulo Nulud to present the owners with a Certificate of Appreciation for opening their business in La Mesa and was joined by Supervisor Dianne Jacob’s representative, Tory Floyd who also presented the owners a Certificate of Appreciation. The Chamber also made a presentation and offered a hearty welcome to this La Mesa business and wished them well and was joined by Miss Teen La Mesa, Alexis Smith.

We encourage you to stop by the Brew Coffee Spot, located at 6101 Lake Murray Blvd. and experience this warm and friendly NEW local “hangout.”
